Official matters and healthcare
At the police, in court, at the prosecutor's office, at public offices, at the doctor's or in hospital: I help on site, by phone and online. I have interpreted in all kinds of situations for years and know the legal terminology. I interpret clearly even when the situation is tense.

Written translation
I translate written texts from Polish into Hungarian and from Hungarian into Polish, and I proofread websites, marketing texts and other materials. Both languages are my native languages, so my texts read naturally to their audience in either language – which is exactly why they also work well for marketing.
When you work with me, you can be sure that…
-
Both sides will understand me.
As a native speaker of both Hungarian and Polish, I speak both languages naturally.
-
I arrive on time and prepared.
I go through the topic and the terminology in advance, so that everything runs smoothly on the day.
-
What you entrust to me stays with me.
Negotiations, official matters and personal situations are all handled with the same discretion.
-
I interpret accurately.
I convey what was said, with its emphasis, and I do not get involved in the content.
-
You can rely on me in the long term.
I have regular clients I work with again and again. If you need an interpreter again, I will already know the topic and your ways of working, so our cooperation becomes even smoother.
-
You receive an invoice.
I issue an invoice for my services, so accounting is simple for companies and private individuals alike.
At work

Glad to have you here!
I'm Weronika Krajewska, a Polish–Hungarian interpreter and relationship builder. I grew up in a Polish–Hungarian family, so I have spoken both languages since childhood. I became an interpreter at the age of three: I was the one helping my Hungarian and Polish relatives understand each other. I have lived in both Warsaw and Budapest, and both cities are close to my heart.
I have always been interested in people, so I studied psychology and communication and media studies, then earned my interpreter qualification at ELTE.
What I love most about my work is that I get to work with people, languages and cultures.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker talks in short segments and I interpret during the pauses. This is the most common at meetings, negotiations and smaller events. In simultaneous interpreting, I interpret at the same time as the speaker, and the audience listens through headphones.
How much does Polish interpreting cost? What does the price depend on?
The price depends on the length of the assignment, the location, how specialised the topic is, and whether consecutive or simultaneous interpreting is needed. Online interpreting is charged by the hour; on-site interpreting at half-day and full-day rates. Briefly tell me what it is about, and I will send you an exact quote.
How far in advance should I book?
Dates fill up in the order of requests, so it is worth booking 2–3 weeks in advance. I may also have a free date at short notice – just ask and we will arrange it.
Do you also take assignments outside Budapest or in Poland?
Yes, besides Budapest I take assignments anywhere in Hungary and in Poland.
Can I book Polish interpreting online or by phone?
Yes, I interpret at online meetings, on video calls and by phone (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).
What is the difference between an interpreter and a translator?
An interpreter works with the spoken word: during the conversation, they pass on what was said, for example at a negotiation, an event or an official matter. A translator works with written text, such as a contract, a website or a letter. Many people look for a Polish translator when what they really need is help with spoken communication – that is an interpreter's job, and it is my main field. I also take on written translation.
Do you also offer written translation?
Yes, I also translate in writing, from Polish into Hungarian and from Hungarian into Polish. I translate and proofread websites and marketing texts as well.
Do you also translate and interpret in English?
I speak English at an advanced level (Cambridge C1) and can help in English if needed. To ensure professional quality, let us first discuss the topic and the nature of the assignment – based on that, I can decide whether to take it on.
